# Seats, plan changes and cancelling

# Seats, plan changes and cancelling

Only the workspace owner can make these changes.

## Extra seats

On team plans, add seats in **Billing**. Extra seats add people, not credits. New seats are charged pro rata for the rest of the period; removing seats takes effect at renewal.

## Upgrade

Click **Review upgrade** on a bigger plan. You'll see the pro-rata charge and the extra allowance, then **Confirm upgrade** to pay and switch now.

## Downgrade

Click **Review downgrade**, then **Schedule downgrade**. Nothing is charged now. The new plan starts at your next renewal, and your team must fit in its seats.

## Invoices and payment details

Click **Invoices & payment** to open the billing portal. There you can download invoices and change your card.

## Cancel

1. Click **Invoices & payment**.
2. Cancel renewal in the billing portal.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and Billing shows **Ends this period**. Export your prospects before then if you need them (see [Import and export CSV files](/prospects/import-and-export-csv)).
